Introduction to java

 Java is a programming language developed by Sun Microsystems. This language was called as ‘Oak’ but was renamed as Java. The goal of this language was primarily to develop a language that is architectural-neutral. The Java language is one of the most powerful programming languages developed up to date. It’s platform independent feature (not depending on other OS) makes it a very popular programming language. I am going to tell you about this language in coming weeks. We will have a look at the previous languages.

• Cobol: -

Cobol (Common Business Oriented Language) was first widely used high-level programming language for business applications. It is being known to have many lines of code than any language.

• C: -

C is a programming language, which provided added features over the languages like Basic, Cobol, Fortran. It provided a structured/procedural programming language.

• C++: -

C++ is an object oriented programming language. It is an Object oriented expansion on C.
